The Yellowstone Canyons Watershed houses what many people refer to as "The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone." The Canyon is a Montana bound stretch of river flanked on either side by sloping cliffs that look carved from the mountains beside them with an unearthly sharp chefs knife.

These slopes are, of course, carved out by thousands of years of steadily flowing water. So, when you float fish the Yellowstone Canyon's Watershed with us on a fly fishing trip, then you're literally floating past thousands of years of brutally gorgeous geographical history. Come witness the majesty of the Yellowstone Canyons Watershed with us.

I have fished with Chad many days and always had a great experience. Chad is always personable and professional and has a wealth of knowledge of the rivers we fish. You will always have an awesome adventure with Chad!

The Rivers of the Yellowstone Canyons Watershed

As the Yellowstone river enters the Yellowstone canyons its wide, lazy, and slow moving pace quickens slightly. This stretch of the Yellowstone River is bad for wade fishing, but perfect for guided fly fishing trips filled with nyphming, and float fishing. Follow this river to the Lamar or Slough watershed, or fish it all the way into our Montana territories, the choice is yours. Either way, you're sure to get a bundle of unforgettable fishing memories from this expansive stretch of water.  Be on the lookout for rainbows, brooks and—occasionally—a brown or two during your time fly fishing this section of the Yellowstone river.
